After studying photography at Webster University in St. Louis, I traveled, worked for a failed dot com, sold cameras in New Orleans, and earned an MFA in Film from Columbia University.
Following grad school I relocated to Minneapolis where I founded a one-man-band style video production company and established myself professionally as a practitioner of content marketing, digital advertising, multimedia creation & distribution, and web content strategy. A sampling of my professional work can be found here.
I now live in Austin, TX, where my daily life is pretty much the same as it was in Minneapolis, with the added benefit of better weather and plentiful breakfast tacos.
My short films have screened in microcinemas and film festivals around the world. My writing has placed in a couple screenwriting contests.
My photography has been exhibited in New York City, Minneapolis, and in a solo show in St. Louis entitled new york is a friendly town. My photography has also been published in The New York Times, The Guardian, The Riverfront Times, and Shots Magazine, among others.
